What is stored
When you analyze a public Steam profile, Playprint stores a one-way hash of the Steam ID, Steam App IDs, playtime minutes, recent playtime, calculated scores, and dated library totals. Raw Steam IDs, Steam API keys, and private Steam data are not stored in the analytics database.
Why it is stored
This data is used to cache results, track library changes over time, improve aggregate insights, and keep Steam API usage within reasonable limits. Public display names and avatars are requested from Steam for display but are not written to the anonymous playtime table.
Using the service
Only analyze profiles you are permitted to view. Results are informational and may be incomplete when Steam data is private or unavailable. By using Playprint, you agree to this processing of public Steam data.
Third parties
Playprint uses Steam’s public services and Cloudflare infrastructure. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Recommendation prompts are sent to an AI provider only when you explicitly choose one.
